In the land of Oz

Wow, it's been awhile since my last post. In the interim I have moved over to Australia, and what a hectic move it turned out to be. Took awhile for all the dust to settle, but it finally has. And in between I shot a wedding of a fantastic couple, on the beach no less!!! Tas and Elly were great to work with, and we got some great stuff. Here they are.

Justin and Ange

Very good friends of mine, they started out at Piha (stunning), and then finished up at Landsendt, great location, and fantastic to be able to share their special day.

Frances and Peter

Where do I start with Frances and Peter? Great couple, great wedding party and so much stuff happening everywhere.
And the food!!! Yum! :-)

Paul and Kate

I have been very slack with the blogging, but here goes.

Paul and Kate, two beautiful people that were made for each other. We had a great day, a lot of laughs, and they were a joy to work with.

Queensberry Album

I had a 30 page, 60 side album done for the wedding of Aman and Vilashni.

Stunning, stunning album, but what a big album! It must have weighed in at about 5kg easy. Here are some photos.

Towing on a paraglider

Well, yesterday I went paratowing for the first time ever. My heart was beating through my chest. I can fly my glider no problem......but being dragged by a winch up to about 700 feet in the air over a field a few hundred meters long, is another story. Turned out to be easier than I thought...it was really the anticipation which was the tough bit....and the fact that I haven't flown for ages.

Anyway...had some good tows and look forward to when it gets a bit warmer so there are thermals up there with us next time.

Rachel and George - 09 May 2009

Another cool couple to work with, I really am happy that I keep getting excellent people to work with. Rachel and George were a lot of fun. The day was a mix of strong wind, showers and sun, but we made it work for us. I think we got some good stuff.

Model shoots - Chane

Recently I have started doing model shoots and TFCD (time for cd) sessions. It's a great, stress free way to practice photography and try different styles and improve my portfolio, which is growing at a decent rate. Good thing PC storage is getting cheaper, because RAW files really eat it up!!

Anyway, this is Chane, great fun to work with and very photogenic. I have 2 more model shoots coming up, and will organise a few more over winter.

Aman and Vilashni 02 April - 05 April

Well, where do I start? I was totally blown away by Aman and Vilashnis' wedding. Shot over 4 days, it was my first Indian wedding and hopefully won't be my last!
There was colour and sound and stuff happening everywhere....I only hope I did it justice.

After the last day of shooting though, my body let me know it was time for a rest!

These are two fantastic people, and we had the best time, thank you both so much.
